FAQ

GENERAL/STORE

Covid-19 Information:

Though we are hopefully nearing the end of the pandemic, I will continue to self isolate as much as possible, and vigorously clean the studio frequently. Tables are wiped down and sanitized, carpets vacuumed, tools thoroughly cleaned, hands washed constantly, etc. As someone who cannot work in a dirty environment, rest assured that I take the utmost care in keeping a healthy, safe studio for my customers and myself.

Returns and Exchanges:

All sales are final. Items are carefully checked before being sent out, and pieces with any significant damage are not sold. Since most items are handmade, there may be slight blemishes or inconsistencies that will not affect the quality or overall appearance. Products that have a noticeable mark, blemish, bend, etc. will be considered “Seconds” or “B Stock” and will be labeled appropriately at a discount. Packages are secured to the best of my ability, however I am not responsible for any damage caused by the shipping process. If there is an error on my part (wrong order, missing items, etc.), then I will be happy to resolve the issue.

    ARTWORK

    Tattoo Work:

I am currently not accepting tattoo commissions at the moment. Tattoo tickets for previous work (not including commissioned pieces) may be available in the future.

Tattoo orders will come with a written release that you may give to your tattoo artist for proof of ownership/use of the design. For tattoo artists, you must purchase a license to distribute the tattoo on client(s). This artwork will only be for a tattoo and will not be used for other purposes.

Because of the wide variety in size and detail of a design, prices are given in the form of a quote after we discuss the nature of the work.

    Under no circumstance may you:

    • Tattoo or get a tattoo of commissioned work for another client

    • Tattoo or get a tattoo of any artwork I create without my written consent and a license or written release

    • Purchase a tattoo to be used on your client(s) without a licensing agreement

    • Reproduce my work in any medium without my written consent, or claim as your own

This type of commission is non-refundable. For any questions, please send me a message.

    Projects/Commissions:

I am currently not accepting commissions or personal projects for the moment. Opening times and pricing will be announced in the future. If need be, I am open for a select number of larger projects for businesses and brands that align with my values. Please contact me for any questions.

    Collaborations:

I am open to collaborating with other creators. Please reach out to me with the above link to discuss project ideas, rates, and licensing if applicable.

    Project Pricing:

All custom projects are handled differently and will have varying costs, so a design brief is is necessary before providing a quote. Please only ask for a quote if you are certain you'd like to work with me.

    Design Brief:

A design brief includes information such as: time frame, subject matter, medium, canvas size, and any other relevant details. For businesses or merchandise makers, the brief may also include desired rights such as copyright, production methods, number and type of items to be produced, number of designs or artworks to be produced, etc.

The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for me to assist you.

    TERMS OF SERVICE--ARTWORK

    General:

I reserve the right to cancel or deny any commission or project that I deem to be unfit. This may include rude or aggressive behavior to myself, uncomfortable subject material, illegal in nature, or any other reason. If the client has already paid, they will be refunded accordingly.

If there is a deadline, please inform me when we are discussing your commission. I am not responsible for a late project if I am not informed of a time.

I may provide updates via e-mail or social media, and I may provide works in progress (WIPs) of the stages of art to confirm the client is happy with the direction of the piece.

    Payment:

Payment must either be paid in full upfront or at an agreed percentage and time frame before work is started. If for any reason you are unable to pay, then the commission will be canceled.

Initial quotes are not final until both I and the client agree on a final price after any necessary adjustments. I will ask for confirmation of the final quote before requesting payment.

    Posing Rules/Rights:

The client is not allowed to reproduce, sell, auction, publish, edit, transfer rights, or reprint any work or work in progress (WIP) without my written consent or a licensed agreement.

The client is allowed to post the artwork to their pages and social media given they provide credit to The Headless Hare, preferably with the link www.theheadlesshare.com. Only the commissioner and myself are allowed to post these pieces of work.

WIPs that are sent to the commissioner are not to be edited or uploaded to any site unless agreed upon.

I retain all rights to my work and are allowed to use commissioned work for promotional purposes.

Please do not remove my watermark, edit or claim the art as your own, nor use for roleplay or similar sites.

Personal works of mine are not to be posted or reposted by anyone other than myself.

Failure to follow these results will result in being blacklisted, with a future ban from all accounts, websites, auctions, and commissions.

    Refunds:

If there is a design error on my part, then it will be fixed for free. However, if you constantly change your idea/design, then you will be charged an additional $10 for every edit. Please have your idea/design finalized before commissioning me, and be sure to be specific and detailed when filling out your design brief. Finished pieces will not be edited.

If the client requests a refund during the commission, they will be refunded between 20%-50% of the initial fee depending on the work completed.

Fully completed work is not eligible for a refund.

    Final:

This ToS is subject to change at any time. The client must read and understand all said statements in this list before purchasing a commission. By commissioning me, you agree to all the terms listed on this site.
